Purple visions of autumn. Already!

The talented team of SOL Girls had some company this week when our fabulous rep, Anna Ortiz, visited us from San Francisco. She brought with her a whole bunch of sneak previews of what we can expect for fall...and let me tell you, fall's going to be good. Really good.

Isn't she adorable?

We saw breath-taking new goodies from Marie Jo, Prima Donna and Andres Sarda...

Including this STUNNING orchid colored bra and panty set from Sarda. Ooooh. Divine. Purple, how I love thee. (Anyone else have a thing for Donny Osmond back in the day? Just me?)

Now the girls can't wait for autumn - and it's still spring! (Speaking of which, have you stopped in for your "Spring Blossom" Daisy bra yet? They're here and their little green and lavender Daisies are simply perfect!)

Even dreamier than first reported...the new green Daisy bra is HERE.

And oh, my. Let's talk cute. Pale green and barely lavender daisy straps on a pale green bra. There was a collective gasp when we opened the package! I've already planned a series of outfits around it! A purple tee, a pink cotton sundress, mint colored tank...these straps are going to see a lot of sunlight this summer!
There was some drama associated with its arrival - if you've been following us on Twitter and Facebook, you know that it was "SOL vs. the Volcano" for awhile. These pretty bras were held up trying to leave their native Belgium because of the ash plume over most of Europe. We waited a few extra days for them, but they were totally worth it!

Come in soon and get yours...there's even a matching boy pant. I totally know what I'm wearing tomorrow.

Save the planet. And look really good doing it.

Have you seen our super cool tote bags? They're not only good-lookin' and handy, they've got a secret past. They are each made from one of our store banners or billboards. We didn't want all those big beautiful pictures of our SOL girl, making her way across the state in her adorable SOL lingerie, ending up in a landfill, so we create fabulous bags from them. Westword magazine even gave us a "Best of" award for our efforts!

Today, to celebrate Earth Day, every purchase at SOL receives a free bag! It's a $27 value - and you're going to look great carrying it around town to do all your shopping. Plus, you'll know you're doing your part to make the earth a little greener - and a little more beautiful!

Just mention this blog, Facebook or Twitter posts about it, and you'll be rocking the recycled SOL billboard bag.

What? You're not a Facebook or Twitter follower yet? No better time than the present!

PS - It's still SOL vs. the Volcano for the green Daisy bra. We're keeping our fingers crossed that the skies over Europe clear and our pretty new Daisy's show up soon!

Where's YOUR Daisy?

Did you know there are more than 23,200 Daisy bras owned by SOL customers? 23,200! That's a lot of little daisies! We LOVE seeing those cute straps all over Denver and Colorado - and beyond! So, in honor of springtime and the new green Daisy bra (coming soon!) and to help us celebrate all you beautiful SOL girls out there, we're launching a fun contest on our Facebook page!

Just post a picture of your Daisy straps peeking out into the sunshine and you'll be entered to win a $300 gift certificate to SOL! (Remember...it's a family site, keep them cute and tasteful!) Post them to our page and yours. We'll put all the entries into a random drawing on June 1. (Not a fan yet? Um...What are you waiting for?)

We can't wait to see where all those 23,200 Daisy's are!

Where is YOUR Daisy?

The countdown continues...

Three things happen in the spring. My daughter diligently rehearses for the the DPS Shakespeare Festival, I start planning my garden, and Marie Jo releases the new color of Daisy bra! How lucky for us all that this year they have added the new boy pant style to go with it.
I swoon.

This spring is no different. Bella is walking around with a grand air of Olde English Sophistication as she reviews her lines in Macbeth, I am sketching peonies and begonias, and we've started the countdown...to a dreamy green and lovely lavender Daisy bra...slated to arrive at SOL any day now!

I'm already picturing all the cute summer tanks and sundresses this adorable bra is going to be peeking out of this summer. Aren't you?

"April hath put a spirit of youth in everything." - William Shakespeare.

Who knew ol' Bill was a SOL Girl? Happy spring, everyone!

Are you a fan of SOL?

We love keeping in touch with all you SOL Girls out there - and one of the most fun ways is our Facebook page. If you're on Facebook, become a fan of SOL!

Not only will you find out about new stuff before anyone else...we'll draw the name of one lucky Facebook fan each Friday to win a free Daisy bra! What better way to end the week than strolling around Cherry Creek North, grabbing a cocktail, peeking in some windows and then stopping in for a free Daisy bra at SOL?

Well. You'll never know unless you go to Facebook now!

A SOL Girl is a SOL Girl...no matter where she is!

Being a SOL Girl is not just a company culture - it's a way of life! These girls have fun no matter where they are...at work, out on the town, or at home. Ever wondered what a SOL Girl does for fun?

Kendall is a foodie!
She's a great cook and even has her own food blog: www.the-perfect-bite.blogspot.com where you can find her yummy recipes and reviews of restaurants all over the city. The SOL Girls love to get together for "TBL Night" where they keep up with all the progress of The Biggest Losers...last week they gathered at Jordy's house and Kendall made dinner, so the Girls knew they were in for good company AND good eats! She treated the gang to her special pennette pasta with pesto, eggplant and pine nuts. To. Die. For. And lucky you, she's posted the recipe on her blog. Bon appetit!

If you've been fortunate enought to be fitted by Lara, then you've been fitted by a Denver native with a lot of ties to Colorado...she loves fly fishing with her dad...is a die-hard season-ticket-holding Broncos fan and even has special custom-made orange and blue Hanky Pankies to wear to cheer her team on!
Lara's first job was pouring waters as a kid at her family's restaurant - Bastien's on Colfax. Check them out - they've got the best steaks in town and one of them was inspired by our own sweet Lara - the "sugar steak."

SOL Girl Jeanie LOVES the slopes...and spends her free time introducing adorable daughter Elliot to the sport. They spend as much time as possible enjoying Monarch...with plenty of hot chocolate afterwards. We think Elliot's amazing smile and fun spirit make her perfect for the next generation of SOL Girls! We love that SOL Girls play just as hard as they work! We hope you do too!

PS - Stay tuned for some "green" announcements coming soon!
