Spring has Sprung!!!

The store is so refreshing right now. The colors have changed from dark winter colors to a bright and fun Spring palette. The store feels fresh and makes me excited for warmer weather and for my garden to start blooming!

One of the pieces that I am super excited about is a caftan from Natori. This is a new body style for them and is right on trend for Spring sleepwear. It features a light, airy fabric that is super soft and slinky on the skin. And, it comes in classic black and this fun new color “Flamingo!"

This new piece is super versatile and can be worn as an easy loungewear basic or even belted and worn with leggings as a fun and funky top! Tres chic!

Viva Las Vegas and Lingerie!

This last weekend the SOL girls and I took Las Vegas by storm as we attended the Curve Designer Lingerie & Swim Show at the Venetian Hotel. Here we were able to meet with some of our favorite vendors and preview the Spring and Fall/Winter collections for 2009.

There are some beautiful laces, divine colors and new styles coming this year and it always makes me excited to know what we can anticipate and how the lingerie trends tie into the world of fashion.



And what would a trip to Vegas be without a SOL girls night out? After the show we were able to let loose and have a good time before we hopped back on a plane to catch our flight back to Denver.

Be My Valentine Billboard

As my family and I were driving up to our mountain home last weekend, we drove by our new billboard on I-70. I was so excited to see our latest Valentine advertisement and shouted out, “Husband! Look at our cool, new billboard!” I even had my daughter stop watching her movie for 2 seconds to check it out.

I can’t quite contain my excitement about this billboard! It is fun and flirty and bright…a great add on to the ad campaign that we have done throughout the last year. This shot is one of my favorites. It reminds me of the glamorous pin-up girls of an era gone by, who prided themselves on wearing beautiful things…especially bras and panties!

We shot the photos last June at one of my most favorite haunts, The Cruise Room at the Oxford Hotel in downtown Denver. Not only was the photo shoot extra fun, but the images we have been using in our ads from the last year have brought a smile to my face and hopefully inspired many women to find their inner sassiness!
