Look What Has Sprouted Up at SOL

Dots versus Daisies? Looking to spice up your everyday bra collection? We just got in the ‘Dottie,’ a fantastic everyday bra that has the same versatile features of the daisy plunge, but with dots instead of daisies on the straps. It comes in tried and true basic colors: café latte, black, white, and their fabulous spring color is Flamingo. It’s a beautiful color with alternating coral and white dots on the straps - very cute!

I love this month’s store display which features a garden theme complete with daisies galore (both bras and flowers!), garden hoses and potted grasses. Interview with a SOL Girl - Amanda

Amanda is our fabulous store manager. You may have met her or seen her while in the store, or maybe you have been lucky enough to have had her fit you! Read on to learn more about this SOL girl…

Cindy: Why do you love working at SOL?
Amanda: I feel incredibly fortunate to work in an environment where I am able to help women feel good about their bodies. It is rewarding to educate customers about the basics of bra fitting and help them discover something sexy and fun too!

I also absolutely love the people who I work. We are like a family. And all of us women (and one SOL Man) are so passionate about what we do!

Cindy: What is your favorite basic bra? Why?
Amanda: I am 32D. I have a basic bra in my drawer that I wear with my thin light colored tops that I call my “ace bandage” because it is nude and really plain, and it holds me in perfectly. It is the Satin by Prima Donna and I love it for its comfort and functionality. I also love the daisy bra because it's cute and it converts to a halter bra.

Cindy: What bra tip surprised you the most to learn when you first started working at SOL?
Amanda: That a nude bra works best under a white shirt! It sounds silly to say it now, but it was like magic when you first taught me that tip. And to learn that most shades of nude work, regardless of skin tone. And even some light colors as well such as pale pink, pale blue or the new peachy/vanilla color in the Daisy bra; that those all can work surprisingly well too, depending on the shirt.

Cindy: Panty preference?
Amanda: Matching thong or Boyshort

Cindy: Favorite Take-out comfort food?
Amanda: Indian

Cindy: What do you like to do in your spare time?
Amanda: Ski! I’m sad the season is ending this weekend.

Fresh New Colors in the DAISY BRA!

The new coral color in the Daisy bra is here! One of the highlights of their Spring collection is a new bra style, the Daisy push-up. The coral bra shown in the image on the left is the push-up style. This style is perfect for that extra “oomph” you want with your favorite tops. Currently, for its initial launch, it is only available in limited sizes (A, B, and C cups).

A Sneak Peek

Last year, many people asked us how we came up with the idea for our annual photo shoot. It is actually a very fun process! All year long we write down ideas that pop into our heads…we take pictures… and, we tear from the pages of magazines the things that inspire us! Then, we all sit down and brainstorm our thoughts to come up with a theme that is fun, exciting and embodies the SOL way.

This year was no different, and it didn't take us long to agree on a theme that tickled our fancy! I can’t reveal exactly what the campaign will be yet, but I can tell you this- It embraces the free spirit of girlfriends, traveling the open road, soaking up the sunshine and making the most of your pretty panties!
