SOL ♥s NY!

Another day of our New York buying trip is in the books. As usual, it was a whirlwind of taxis, lingerie, and amazing food! Summer in Manhattan is so wonderful. One of Jeanie and my favorite summer traditions is sipping drinks by the rooftop pool at the Gansevoort Hotel (we love it so much we "pinned" it on Pinterest!). 

The roof top sunset was a glorious way to relax after a busy day. The Gansevort is our first pick of hotels in NYC. You can’t beat the roof top pool. We had the great pleasure of having Andy Mountain swing by for a night cap who also happened to be in town on business. Andy is long-time SOL shopper along with his wife Jade. He also happens to be SOL's man behind the camera for our fantastic ad campaign videos.

Spring forward!

I've always lived in Colorado, so to me, spring break is a delightful end to the monotony that winter can become. As a kid, it was a week to ski with no jacket on, or "lay out" for the start of a summer tan...as a college girl it was a chance to blow off steam before end of year finals - on a beach if we were lucky. Now, it's a time to let my daughter relax and be a kid, make summer plans, play games and read books together...whether that's on a beach or in the mountains makes no difference!


This year, we'll be headed to Buena Vista with Jeanie and her family and I can hardly wait for giggly nights in cute PJs with movies and big bowls of popcorn.

The other SOL girls have their get-aways planned, too!


Lara just got back from a week in Vegas where she wow'ed the Strip no doubt with those incredible eyelashes and vast array of Paris Tights. Girlfriend can seriously rock the tights. She won't say how she did at the Blackjack table, but we did notice she's been brown-bagging it all week.


Kendall spent some time with friends in Steamboat, skiing, dining and generally forgetting the world exists while she pretended to be a celebrity in very oversized sunglasses and a different Lise Charmel set each day under her ski clothes.

Janelle has returned from a whirlwind trip to Miami where she says she used all of her Spring Break "Essentials" - Aubade swimsuit, Bring-it-ups, and double-sided tape. (But not all at once.) Needless to say, we are anxiously awaiting the photo documentation of some of the items...here she is with some of the other pretty peeps of Miami making a splash in her Aubade one-piece. Lucky us the paparazzi caught this shot! 

I love hearing about other people's get-aways, don't you? So...for the next few days, we'll be asking you to share your favorite vacation photo with us on Facebook...on March 31st, we'll pick a winner to get a $100 SOL credit.

What is SOL?

I've always loved lingerie. But the main reason I chose to start my own lingerie store was not only because did I think lingerie was beautiful, but because of how putting on a beautiful set made me FEEL. And that feeling is what I have tried to share with each of my customers over the last 13 years.

When we reached 1000 fans this week on Facebook we did a contest to give away a $100 gift card and asked people to share their favorite SOLism. WOW! I have to tell you reading all the comments brought tears to my eyes. It made me feel so good to see that our Fans get what we are trying to do here at SOL. That lingerie can mean many things to many people, but what we try to do is make women feel great about themselves.

I love Sol so much that inside my own head I changed your name to "My Miracle Workers". My best friends even know exactly who I'm referencing when I say, "I'm going to visit my miracle workers this weekend." :)

All it took was one fitting and I'm a SOL/daisy girl for life.

Mine is embarassing and is a memory i have of laughing as one of your salespeople had to go get pads to fill out my A cups :( And them having to explain to my 8 year old why we were laughing so hard...

Not only does SOL have the best selection of Lingerie, but Jordy is awesome! The first time I came in, I felt like I had known her my whole life! LOVE me some SOL!!!

I bought my under wedding dress attire there over 11 years ago and all my bras sets since. Love SOL and recommend them to everyone.

I needed a strapless bra for an bridesmaid dress and a Victoria Secret employee told me that they didn't have bras that fit me and girls like me shouldn't wear strapless dresses Devastated that she hurt my feelings and that I wasn't going to find anything, I discovered SOL where I left with a great bra and feeling much better about myself!

I haven't bought a bra from any other store since my first SOL fitting. that was...hmm...so long ago I can't remember. i'd rather wear an old ratty bra from SOL than a new one from anywhere else. :)

Before I discovered SOL, I had to wear "grandma" bras because it is impossible to find pretty bras in my size. Now I have bras in different colors and styles and every single one is cute! I took my friends on a bra marathon a couple of years ago. I searched on line, made some calls, got on mapquest, then hopped in the car and started driving to top of the line lingerie stores, trying to find the perfect bra. SOL was the winner, hands down! We are "sold on SOL!"

Wearing SOL bras has completely upped my confidence and posture, sexy pieces underneath clothing that fit properly can completely change your attitude and self esteem! thank you for your staff and great products!
